PSG College of Technology will organise a Global Conference on Hydrogen and Renewable Energy for Sustainable Transport and Industrial Applications (H2RESA 2026) at the PSG Centenary Hall on March 7, 2026.

The conference is being held as part of the celebrations marking 100 years of PSG Trust and the 75th year (Platinum Jubilee) of PSG College of Technology, highlighting the institution’s longstanding contribution to engineering education, research and industrial development.

Ranjith Krishna Pai, Scientist F and Senior Director, Department of Science and Technology, Government of India, will inaugurate the conference. Jayan, Project Director at the Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre and National Secretary of the Indian Society for Systems Science, will be the Guest of Honour.

Prakasan, Principal of PSG College of Technology, will preside over the inauguration, and Rudramoorthy, Director of PSG CARE, will present an overview of the conference. The conference proceedings will also be formally released during the inaugural session.

Distinguished international experts expected to participate include Ganesan Subbaraman from GTI Energy, USA; Anand Sankaran, former Director at Ford Motor Company, USA; and Palanichamy Manikandan from Østfold University College, Norway.

The conference is expected to draw around 200 participants from industry, academia and research organisations. It will feature keynote lectures, technical sessions and industry discussions on hydrogen production, energy storage, renewable integration and infrastructure development.
