PSG Tech Alumni Association organised its 66th Annual General Meeting today, during which the new office-bearers for the 2026–28 term were announced.

KPM Muthukhumaren (BE ’92), CEO of KPM Plasto Rubber Company, assumed office as the President of the association.

The Vice-Presidents are Vidhya (BE ’94), Director – Branding and CSR at Propel Industries; Kaarthic (DME ’97, ME ’02), Director, Chandra Gears; and Vignesh Dhamodarasamy (BE ’96), Director, Ellen Industries.

Arasu, Head of the Department of Foundry, PSG Polytechnic College, will be the General Secretary.

Sundaram (ME ’04), Associate Professor, Department of Robotics and Automation Engineering, will serve as the Treasurer.

Murugan (B.Tech ’96), Associate Professor, Department of Textile Technology; Udhayakumar (PhD ’14), Assistant Professor, Department of Mechanical Engineering; Brindha (ME ’06), Head, Department of Computer Networking; and Harichealvan (BE ’11), Assistant Professor, Department of Production Engineering, will serve as Secretaries of the association.

The Immediate Past President, Krishnakumar (BE ’79), Vice President of Aquasub Engineering, presented the presidential collar medal to the incoming President.

During the event, the association’s newsletter was released by Somasundaram, First President of the association.

Thyla, Faculty Advisor (FAC) of PSG College of Technology, and Giriraj, Principal of PSG Polytechnic College, highlighted the achievements of their respective institutions.

D. Nandakumar, Managing Director of Selvam Agencies and an alumnus of PSG College of Technology, felicitated the incoming President and the immediate past President.

At the event, faculty members of both colleges were honoured for their dedicated service.

The winners of the PSG Tech Math Olympiad were felicitated, and the best projects from PSG College of Technology and PSG Polytechnic College were also honoured, as part of the event.

Alumni of PSG College of Technology and PSG Polytechnic College, along with faculty members and students, were present at the event.
