PSG Health Sciences Institutions organized its Annual Research Day 2026, where it highlighted its commitment to advancing research, innovation, and academic excellence in healthcare.

Dr. T. M. SubbaRao, Principal, PSG IMS&R, while welcoming the gathering emphasized the importance of research in shaping the future of healthcare. Dr. Sudha Ramalingam, Director – Research & Innovation, PSG IMS&R presented an overview of the institutions’ research activities and achievements.

Dr. M. Ramanathan, Principal, PSG College of Pharmacy, and Dr. R. Jayadeepa, Principal, PSG College of Nursing, while offering felicitation, appreciated the efforts of researchers and encouraged interdisciplinary collaboration.

The Chief Guest, Dr. Sanghamitra Pati, Additional Director General, Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), New Delhi emphasized the critical role of translational research, public health innovation, and collaboration in addressing emerging healthcare challenges in India.

As a part of the program various awards – such as the PSG PRIME Awards, PSG Research Awards, Best Poster Awards and Dr. Ramalingam Sankaran Best Faculty Researcher Award were presented to faculty and students who made outstanding contributions in research and innovation.
