Dr. NGP Beginners Business Council (BBC) of Dr. NGP Research and Educational Trust signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Student Venture Firm (Paul Bros Consulting LLP) recently to strengthen entrepreneurship, innovation, and startup development among students.
The partnership marks a significant milestone in promoting an entrepreneurial ecosystem that empowers students to transform innovative ideas into successful business ventures.
The MoU signing ceremony was held in the presence of Mathura V. Palaniswami, Director, Dr. NGP Beginners Business Council, Bhuvaneswaran, CEO, Dr. NGP Research and Educational Trust, Saravanan, Principal, Dr. NGP Arts and Science College, and Pawlin Vasanthi Joseph, Dean, Research & Development of the College.
Representing Student Venture Firm (Paul Bros Consulting LLP) were Paul, Founder & Managing Director and Angel Investor, Ramadevi, Associate Partner and Angel Investor, and Puja, Project Lead.
The representatives shared their vision of nurturing young innovators by providing industry exposure, strategic mentoring, and investment opportunities that will help students build scalable and sustainable startups.
Speaking on the occasion, the dignitaries highlighted the growing importance of entrepreneurship in today’s rapidly evolving economy. They emphasized that educational institutions play a vital role in developing entrepreneurial thinking, encouraging innovation, and equipping students with the confidence and practical skills required to become successful entrepreneurs and job creators.
Through this strategic partnership, students of Dr. NGP Arts and Science College will gain access to structured incubation support, expert mentorship from industry professionals, startup boot camps, entrepreneurship development programmes, business model validation, networking opportunities with investors, and guidance in securing seed funding.
The collaboration will also facilitate workshops, innovation challenges, startup showcases, internship opportunities, and collaborative projects aimed at nurturing entrepreneurial talent.
The MoU is expected to create a vibrant innovation ecosystem by connecting students with experienced entrepreneurs, investors, and industry experts.
It will encourage interdisciplinary collaboration, promote problem-solving through innovation, and provide aspiring entrepreneurs with the necessary resources to convert their ideas into viable business enterprises.
