Mandara, India’s first premium 24K gold vermeil jewellery brand, will open its new store in RS Puram, Coimbatore, on August 17, 2026, at 11 o’clock. M. Krishnan, Chairman of Sri Krishna Sweets, will inaugurate the store.
This was announced at a press meeting held on Thursday at Hotel Grand Regent. Binu Kumar, Founder of Mandara, addressed the press and spoke about the brand and its offerings.
Vermeil is high-quality jewellery made with a thick layer of real gold (at least 10k and 2.5 microns thick) plated over a solid 925 sterling silver base.
Speaking about the new RS Puram store, Binu said that the products are priced starting from ₹2,500. The store will also offer special inaugural offers. They also offer a collection of jewellery and gold idols.
He said the jewellery and other products will not tarnish or turn black and come with a lifetime exchange facility. The ornaments and idols are crafted using the electroforming process, with 3–5 microns of pure gold. This is Mandara’s fourth showroom in Tamil Nadu, with one of its outlets located at Coimbatore Airport.
