Krispy Kreme, the iconic American doughnut brand, has officially entered Coimbatore, expanding its retail presence in South India with outlets at Brookefields Mall, Prozone Mall and Coimbatore Airport.

The brand commenced operations on October 9, 2026, with six additional delivery locations serving customers across the city through Swiggy and Zomato.

The launch at Brookefields Mall was marked by a ribbon-cutting and lamp-lighting ceremony, followed by celebrations featuring complimentary doughnuts served from a larger-than-life Krispy Kreme Big Box.

Interactive activities throughout the evening added to the experience for visitors.

With its Coimbatore entry, Krispy Kreme continues to strengthen its presence across India, where it operates in markets including Bengaluru, Delhi NCR, Pune, Hyderabad, Chennai, Chandigarh and Jaipur.

The expansion reflects the brand’s focus on emerging urban markets with evolving consumer preferences and growing demand for international food brands.

Commenting on the launch, Gokul Kandhi, Chief Operating Officer, Curefoods, said, India’s food landscape is evolving rapidly, with demand for global brands growing well beyond the traditional metros.

Coimbatore represents this shift and is an important market in our expansion strategy for South India.

With a young, evolving consumer base and a strong appetite for new food experiences, we see significant long-term potential for Krispy Kreme in the city.

Alongside its signature freshly made doughnuts, the Coimbatore outlets will offer freshly brewed coffee, milkshakes and chillers, catering to customers throughout the day, from breakfast to late-night cravings.
