To address the pressing issue of water body pollution, Kongunadu Arts and Science College, in collaboration with Teesside University, UK and Tamil Nadu Agricultural University organized the 2nd International Conference on the Socioeconomic Impacts of Pollution in Water Bodies and Remedial Measures on 6th January, 2025.
Sangeetha, the Principal, welcomed the gathering, while Vasuki, the Secretary and Director of the College, delivered the presidential address and released the Conference Souvenir.
Sundaram Senthilarasu, Professor of Sustainable Energy Materials, Teesside University, UK and Raviraj, Dean of Agricultural Engineering at the Agricultural College and Research Institute, Tamil Nadu Agricultural University delivered the felicitation addresses. Both emphasized the importance of water, the need to manage water resources effectively, and the necessity of conserving it for future generations.
