KMCH College of Physiotherapy and KMCH College of Pharmacy celebrated significant achievements on University Research Day 2024 –ARIVELVI Program held recently at The Tamil Nadu Dr. MGR Medical University, Chennai.
The KMCH College of Physiotherapy was honoured as the best academic institution for the Master of Physiotherapy (MPT) degree for the academic year 2023-2024. Dr. Rajasekaran, Principal of KMCH College of Pharmacy, received the Best Researcher Award among pharmacy faculties.
The event featured esteemed Chief Guest Ma. Subramanian, the Health Minister of the Government of Tamil Nadu, underscored the importance of excellence in healthcare education.
The program was presided over by Narayanasamy, MD, DM, Vice Chancellor of The Tamil Nadu Dr. MGR Medical University, along with Sangumani, M.D., Director of Medical Education, Tamil Nadu and Arumugam, M.D., Registrar of the University.
Dr. Karthik Babu, Principal of KMCH College of Physiotherapy, accepted the award for his institution and was also honoured with the Best Researcher Award in physiotherapy. Simultaneously, Dr. Rajasekaran, Principal of KMCH College of Pharmacy was recognized for his outstanding contributions to research in the pharmacy field.
Karthik Babu stated, “This recognition is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our faculty and students. We remain committed to advancing education and research in physiotherapy.”
Rajasekaran expressed his gratitude, saying, “Receiving the Best Researcher Award is a great honour. It reflects our college’s commitment to innovation and excellence in pharmacy education and research”.
