Karpagam Academy of Higher Education (KAHE), in collaboration with Odoo India, recently organised the Odoo × KAHE Hackathon 2026, a 24-hour Battle Hackathon designed to promote innovation, problem-solving, and industry-oriented learning among students.

The event witnessed participation from institutions across the country, with 86 teams competing to develop innovative solutions addressing real-world industry challenges.

Throughout the hackathon, participants received continuous mentoring, technical guidance, and evaluation support from industry experts.

Following multiple rounds of assessment based on innovation, technical implementation, feasibility, and presentation quality, six teams were shortlisted for the final round and presented their solutions before an expert jury panel comprising representatives from Odoo India.

The valedictory ceremony was attended by Odoo jury members and Santhosh, Head of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Karpagam Academy of Higher Education.

Addressing the participants, Santhosh appreciated their innovative ideas, technical competence, and commitment demonstrated throughout the event.

The winners, Nisha Kumari and Summet Kumar from Banasthali Vidyapith, secured the first prize and received ₹45,000 in prize money.

The first runner-up position was awarded to Shivam Kharat, Priyansh Narang, Siddharth Ladda, and Kaushal Loya from Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, who received ₹35,000 in prize money.

The second runner-up prize, carrying ₹25,000 in prize money, was awarded to Deepak U.K. from Karpagam Academy of Higher Education.

The successful completion of the Odoo × KAHE Hackathon 2026 reflects KAHE’s commitment to fostering innovation, entrepreneurship, and industry-ready talent, empowering students to become future-ready professionals and meaningful contributors to the evolving technology ecosystem.
