We are witnessing a rise in awareness – Dr.Rasmiranjan Padhi
Stroke is one of the commonest causes of death and is very common in India. Earlier, a vast section of patients did not have proper awareness.
But over the last 10 years, awareness has increased among patients. Previously, a lot of time was being wasted, with stroke patients going to smaller centers and going here and there, but now that is not happening. They are coming directly to centers which are capable of thrombectomy and advanced stroke services like GKNM Hospital.

If you see our service, which we have been providing 24/7 for the last 10 years, and our outcomes, they are among the best in the country, and of course, we can compare them with the best centers across the world. We are providing this service as one of the best in this part of the country.
