Sri Shenbagha Lingeshwarar Public Charitable Trust conducted a book release event at Serena Shenbagam, Madhampatti, on 17th April 2025.

The book titled “My India”, authored by Soumya Ayyar, was officially released by the Chief Guest, Dr. Somit Kumar, CSO and Director at AVP Research Foundation, along with Natrajan, Founder and Managing Trustee of the Trust.

The office bearers and members of the Trust, along with the residents of Serena Shenbagam, graced the occasion.

The book My India is a compilation of 64 poems that primarily focus on the culture, traditions, values, and cuisine of South Indian people. The poems also touch upon themes such as yoga, diplomacy, women, and spirituality, all contributing to a message of social upliftment in the country. The author, who moved from California to India in 2011, wrote these poems as an expression of her admiration for India over the past 14 years.

Sri Shenbagha Lingeshwarar Public Charitable Trust is a public trust managed by senior citizens of Serena Shenbagam. The trust is actively involved in three key areas of service: providing essential support to ashramas, extending educational assistance to students who have dropped out due to financial hardship—along with helping them secure suitable employment—and offering medical aid, such as supplying medical equipment to clinics. These services are provided to registered charitable NGOs, government schools, and clinical facilities.
