The Coimbatore Local Centre of the Institution of Engineers (India) (IEI) received the “Best Local Centre Award” for its overall performance during the year 2024–2025.
The award was received by Senthilkumar, Chairman of IEI Coimbatore Local Centre, at the 40th IEI Indian Engineering Congress 2025 held at the National Institute of Technology, Durgapur, West Bengal, on 20 December 2025.
After receiving the award, Senthilkumar said that the achievement was the result of the collective efforts of the IEI Coimbatore Local Centre committee members, corporate members, and associated institutions.
