Hindusthan Institute of Technology, Coimbatore, has been recognised as a “Center of Excellence for Youth Empowerment” under the Infosys Foundation Finishing School for Employability initiative, in association with ICT Academy.
The recognition enables the institution to train students through a Certificate Course on Artificial Intelligence.
Marking this significant recognition, the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, in association with the ICT Academy, inaugurated the CSR Initiative of Infosys Foundation – Phase III: Finishing School for Employability for final-year students.
As part of the initiative, a 100-hour Skill Development Training Programme will be offered to enhance students’ technical competencies, professional skills, employability and industry readiness.
Bala Murali, Senior Manager, ICT Academy, served as the Resource Person for the inaugural programme. Addressing the students, he highlighted the importance of skill development and industry-oriented learning for building successful careers.
Natarajan, Principal, Hindusthan Institute of Technology, presided over the programme and emphasized the importance of providing students with emerging technology skills and industry-relevant learning opportunities.
The Certificate of Membership, issued on 05 August 2026, formally recognizes Hindusthan Institute of Technology as a Center of Excellence for Youth Empowerment to train students in Artificial Intelligence under the Infosys Foundation Finishing School for Employability.
