The Department of Cardiac Technology, Hindusthan College of Health Sciences, organised a one-day conference titled “Cardiac Triad 2026 – From Signals to Solutions” on Monday at the college campus.

The conference was presided over by Dr. Arunkumar, Coordinator, Hindusthan College of Allied Health Sciences. The event was conducted with the support of T. R. K. Sarasuwathi, Managing Trustee, Hindusthan Educational and Charitable Trust; K. Priya, Executive Secretary; and Dr. Satish Prabhu, Executive Director, Hindusthan Hospital.
The conference featured eminent speakers, including Dr. Rashmi Kalshetty, Vice Principal, Millennium Institute of Allied Health Sciences, Karnataka; Siya Sabu, Senior Cath Lab Technologist and Assistant Professor, Srinivas University; Akash, Head of the Department of Renal Dialysis Technology, KVG Medical College; and Varsha Suresh, Assistant Professor, Vinayaka Missions School of Allied Health Science.
The distinguished speakers delivered insightful sessions on ECG, echocardiography, and Cath Lab technologies, providing participants with valuable knowledge on recent advancements in cardiac care.
The conference also included an E-poster presentation aimed at enhancing the scientific knowledge and professional skills of students.
A large number of faculty members, cardiac technologists, and students from allied health science institutions across Tamil Nadu participated and benefited from the conference.
The conference was successfully organised by the faculty members and organising committee of the Department of Cardiac Technology. At the conclusion of the programme, certificates of participation were distributed to all participants.
