Bharathiar University recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with INS AGRANI, Indian Navy, to facilitate the admission of naval personnel into diploma courses.
The diploma programs covered under the MoU include a Diploma in Leadership (for Petty Officers) and a Diploma in Management (for Chief Petty Officers), which will be offered to eligible Indian Navy personnel at the INS AGRANI Community College, Coimbatore.
Srinivasan, Registrar (i/c) of Bharathiar University, signed the MoU on behalf of the university, while Commodore Manmohan Singh, Commanding Officer, signed on behalf of INS AGRANI, Indian Navy.
The signing ceremony was held in the presence of Ajeet Kumar Lal Mohan, Member, Vice-Chancellor Convenor, Committee of the university, and Commander Amit Kumar Sharma, Senior Education Officer, INS AGRANI.
The Registrar (i/c) expressed his gratitude to the Convenor of the Vice-Chancellor’s Convenor Committee and to the Secretary to the Government, Department of Higher Education, for granting permission to establish this collaboration with INS AGRANI, Indian Navy.
