Ahead of the festive season, Amazon is hosting Seller Connects in 13 cities across India to help thousands of sellers prepare for the upcoming festive season.
During these seller connects, the company will engage with thousands of sellers across metros and non-metros like Bangalore, Mumbai, Delhi NCR, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Surat, Jaipur, Lucknow, Pune, Ahmedabad, Panipat, Ludhiana, and Indore.
Seller Connect provides a direct platform for sellers to engage with Amazon, gain hands-on training, and participate in deep-dive masterclasses. The day-long sessions cover key areas such as catalog optimisation, advertising strategy, operations planning, and leveraging Amazon’s suite of seller tools, equipping businesses to make the most of the festive sales period.
Earlier this year, Amazon also introduced a simplified flat shipping rate for multi-unit orders, enabling sellers to save up to 90% on the second unit shipped.
In addition, Amazon is rolling out new initiatives to help SMBs grow their business during the high-demand festive season.
These include Samriddhi—a self-enabling feature on Seller Central that provides sellers with customised, data-driven recommendations to identify growth opportunities for Ads and inventory planning.
Recently, Amazon announced the expansion of its fulfilment and delivery network that enables sellers to serve their customers faster and more reliably.
“Over the years, Amazon Seller Connect has emerged as a powerful platform that enables meaningful engagement with our sellers across India. It has consistently helped us understand what sellers need to grow their business and prepare effectively for high-demand periods like the festive season.
This initiative plays a key role in helping us drive seller success at scale by enabling better adoption of tools, improving planning and execution, and ultimately helping businesses become more competitive and customer-focused on Amazon. We believe when our sellers succeed, we succeed,” said Gaurav Bhatnagar, Director Sales at Amazon India.
An Amazon.in seller, Aman Jain, Bunkaar Textiles, said: “Amazon’s expanded infrastructure and simplified processes have helped level the playing field for traditional handloom businesses like ours.
Being a seller with Amazon.in has enabled us to bring authentic, handcrafted products to customers across India. The recent Seller Connect in Bangalore provided valuable insights into festive season preparation and strengthened our resolve to scale with purpose. We are more excited than ever to deliver high-quality, artisanal textiles to homes across the country.”
Building on Amazon India’s recent initiatives to simplify selling and reduce costs for SMBs, the 2025 Seller Connect follows April’s record fee reductions, including zero referral fees on over 1.2 crore products under ₹300 and lower shipping rates.
These changes have delivered substantial savings—over 90% on second units—helping sellers offer better pricing and expand selection.
The impact was evident during Prime Day 2025, which saw a 30% year-on-year increase in SMBs receiving sales, with 68% of these sellers coming from tier 2 and 3 cities, highlighting Amazon’s expanding reach in emerging markets and commitment to inclusive digital growth.
