Coimbatore International Airport marked the grand launch of “Yatri Seva Abhiyan 2026,” – a comprehensive 24-day passenger-service campaign aimed at strengthening facilitation, service quality, safety, cleanliness, and courteous service across all operational touchpoints.

The initiative was formally inaugurated by Coimbatore International Airport Director Mohammed Arif amidst enthusiastic participation from airport stakeholders and passengers. Opening ceremonies featured a soul-stirring recitation of Vande Mataram, a vibrant cultural performance, dedicated passenger assistance desks, and popular “Selfie with PM” interactive booths.

Over the course of the campaign, airport teams will drive focused interventions spanning cleanliness, queue management, enhanced accessibility for Divyangjan and senior citizens, upgraded digital amenities like Digi Yatra, and family-friendly facilities. Key upcoming milestones will further anchor this passenger-centric mission, including a special cultural showcase on World Tourism Day (September 27) celebrating local heritage under the “Atithi Devo Bhava” banner, as well as a large-scale Shramdaan cleanliness drive on Gandhi Jayanti (October 2) to reinforce a lasting commitment to airport hygiene and environmental excellence.
