Sasikala, Head, Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at PSG Polytechnic College, has been selected for the National Award for Teachers 2026.
Sasikala will receive the award from Droupadi Murmu, President of India, on September 5, 2026. The award carries a citation and a cash prize of ₹50,000.
This is the second National Award for Teachers received by PSG Polytechnic College in three years. Brindha, Head, Department of Computer and Networking, received the award in 2024.
