Reinforcing India’s position as a global hub for textiles and textile engineering, the India International Textile Machinery Exhibitions Society (India ITME Society) will organise the 12th edition of the India International Textile Machinery Exhibition (ITME) 2026 from December 4 to 9, 2026, at the India Expo Mart and Mart (IEML), Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh. The exhibition will be held under the theme “ITME NEXT”.

The announcement was made at a press meeting held in the city on Tuesday. Ketan Sanghvi, Chairman, India ITME Society; Seema Srivastava, Executive Director; and Senthil Kumar, Honorary Treasurer, addressed the press and media. The organisers invited Coimbatore’s textile manufacturing industry to participate in ITME 2026.

The expo is expected to play a key role in advancing India’s vision under various national initiatives aimed at strengthening manufacturing, innovation and global competitiveness in the textile and textile engineering sectors.

The exhibition will showcase advanced technologies, innovations and sustainable solutions across the entire textile value chain, from fibre, yarn and fabric to finished products and technical textiles.

According to a press release from the India ITME Society, ITME 2026 will be the largest edition of the exhibition, spread across 18 exhibition halls covering around 2,40,000 square metres. It is expected to bring together more than 1,800 exhibitors from over 95 countries and attract more than 1,50,000 visitors.

Aligned with initiatives such as Make in India, Atmanirbhar Bharat, PM MITRA Parks and the National Technical Textiles Mission, India ITME 2026 will highlight India’s growing capabilities in textile engineering, innovation and technology-driven manufacturing.

The exhibition will provide a platform to showcase advanced textile machinery, sustainable manufacturing solutions and next-generation textile technologies. With a focus on sustainability, circular economy practices and resource efficiency, the event will highlight solutions aimed at reducing environmental impact while improving productivity and competitiveness.

The exhibition will also focus on automation, artificial intelligence and advanced machinery that are transforming textile production. Visitors will have an opportunity to explore technologies offering real-time data insights, predictive maintenance and improved supply chain transparency.

By connecting Indian manufacturers with international markets and technology partners, the exhibition aims to strengthen India’s position as a future-ready textile hub. The event will also promote knowledge exchange, technology transfer, skill development and new business opportunities across the textile value chain.
