Sri Ramakrishna College of Arts & Science for Women (SRCW), run by SNR Sons Charitable Trust, Coimbatore organized its 32nd Graduation Ceremony on Tuesday.
Sundar Ramakrishnan, Managing Trustee, SNR Sons Charitable Trust presided over the event. Narayanan Ramaswamy, National Head of Education and Skill Development Services of KPMG took part as the Chief Guest and gave away the degree certificates to 600+ successful candidates. 16 University toppers from the college also received the degree certificates along with their hard-earned gold medals.
K.Chitra, Principal of the college welcomed the gathering. In her annual report, she listed various achievements of the college in the past academic year. Among the achievement, the signing of 13 MoUs with prominent industries to further the institution in Research and Innovation caught the attention of key attendees of the program.
She motivated the graduates to walk with confidence and humility, endeavor to serve and live a life of meaningful accomplishments.
Sundar Ramakrishnan in his presidential address pointed out that with the evolution of Artificial Intelligence, world is becoming competitive. He encouraged the young graduates to keep learning, be adaptive to technology and have a positive approach. He also advised them to always remember the value of Indian culture.
The Chief Guest, Narayanan Ramaswamy cautioned that those who stop learning start to become outdated and eventually lose in the world that is changing. The event was attended by parents of the graduates, professors, the CEO of SNR Sons Charitable Trust, C.V.Ramkumar and Chief Administrative Officer Mahesh Kumar. It is important to state that former Vice Chancellor of Anna University, E.Balagurusamy instituted an award to honor topper in Computer Science stream through his EBG Foundation.
