Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Ajjanur, recently celebrated Guru Purnima with great devotion and enthusiasm.
Marking the occasion, programmes were organised by the Primary and Upper Primary sections to express gratitude and respect to teachers for their guidance.
The celebrations began with a Pushpanjali ceremony dedicated to Saint Veda Vyasa. Students and staff offered floral tributes.

Students from both sections participated in slogan chanting and delivered speeches on the significance of Guru Purnima and the role of teachers.
The programmes were conducted separately for different grade levels. Students of Grades I to VIII presented sloka chanting, devotional songs and a dance performance based on the significance of Guru Purnima.
Students of Grades IX to XII participated in competitions focusing on the historical and contemporary contributions of gurus in promoting knowledge and character.
