The Interact Club of Keartiman Saicity recently held its sixth installation ceremony at Keartiman Academy, bringing together Rotary leaders, the school management, teachers, and students to celebrate and empower the next generation of young leaders.
The ceremony began with a welcome address, followed by the presentation of the outgoing leadership team’s annual report. The incoming board members and office-bearers then took their oath of office, pledging to serve their school and community during the forthcoming term.
The installation ceremony was attended by leaders from Rotary District 3206 and the Rotary Club of Coimbatore Saicity.
Rtn. Dr. Balamurugan, President of the Rotary Club and the chief guest, addressed the gathering with a motivational speech, encouraging the young Interactors to embrace leadership with integrity, empathy, and dedication.
The guest of honour, Rtn. Hendry Amalaraj, District Chairman – Interact Clubs, Rotary District 3206, officially installed the incoming President, Intr. Rahul, Secretary, Intr. Krisha, and the newly elected team of office-bearers.
Rtn. Thulasi Sethu, GGR, delivered an inspiring pep talk, urging students to actively participate in community service and contribute positively to society.
Rtn. Gokul Krishnan, Correspondent of Keartiman Matriculation Higher Secondary School (KMHSS) and Past President of the Rotary Club, highlighted the importance of youth leadership in modern education. Rtn. Balaji, Secretary of the Rotary club, also addressed the gathering and extended the parent club’s support and encouragement to the student leadership.
The leadership transition included speeches by the outgoing office-bearers, who reflected on the club’s achievements during their tenure, and the incoming team. In his acceptance speech, Intr. Rahul outlined the club’s plans for the year, including community service projects and leadership initiatives.
The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by the incoming Secretary, Intr. Krisha.
