The Department of Physics, PSG Institute of Advanced Studies (PSGIAS), conducted a one-week workshop on Semiconductor Technology and Thin-Film Device Fabrication recently.
The workshop combined theoretical concepts with hands-on laboratory training and expert- led sessions by PSGIAS faculty and distinguished speakers from leading organisations and academic institutions.
The dignitaries included Sundar Kumar Iyer, IIT Kanpur; Gnanavel from Helmholtz-Zentrum Hereon, Germany; Parthasarathy Srinivasan, Amrita School of Engineering, Chennai; Sreenivasan, HHV Bengaluru; Sushant Sharma, Founder & Chief Technology Officer, Semilit, Chennai; Ramesh Thamankar, VIT Vellore; and Mahadeva Bhat, Solid State Physics Laboratory, DRDO, Delhi.
The workshop equipped participants with valuable insights into semiconductor technology, fostering meaningful interactions with researchers and industry experts.
