The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) at PSG College of Technology strengthened its industry partnerships through visits to Texas Instruments, Renesas Electronics, Cadence Design Systems, and Krivya Semicon in Bengaluru recently.

The delegation, comprising Krishnaveni, Head of the Department of ECE; Ramesh, Professor; and Sivaraj, Assistant Professor (Senior Grade) and Department Placement Coordinator, held discussions on collaborative projects, consultancy, memoranda of understanding (MoUs), non-disclosure agreements (NDAs), guest lectures, and curriculum enrichment.

During the visit, the delegation also interacted with Savithri Seetharaman, a PSG Tech alumna and Vice President at Texas Instruments.

The visits highlighted the department’s strong industry engagement and student outcomes. Students have secured internships and full-time positions at Texas Instruments, while two interns received employment offers from Cadence Design Systems.

In addition, two alumni joined Krivya Semicon with an annual compensation package of ₹10.5 lakh, reflecting the department’s emphasis on industry exposure and career opportunities.
