Rotary 3206 will adopt 100+ villages & execute devlopment projects – New Rotary Governor Rtn. R.S.Maruti
The installation ceremony of Rotary International District 3206’s new Governor was organised on Sunday, where seasoned and visionary Rotarian R.S.Maruti officially took charge as the District’s New Governor for the year 2026-27.
This significant moment took place in the presence of 2 Chief Guests – renowned academician and Chairman of Kumaraguru Institutions, Rtn.B.K. Krishnaraj Vanavarayar and dynamic industrialist Rtn. AKS. Muruganandham, the Chairman of Excel Group of Companies who is also the Vice President of Rotary International for 2026-27.
The ceremony was hosted by Rotary Club of Coimbatore Texcity, and it was attended by Rotarians of various clubs under 3206 District.
The new District Governor of Rotary International District 3206, Rtn. R.S.Maruti reportedly said that 100+ villages will be adopted and development projects shall be executed in these regions.
Focus will also be on other important aspects including Empowerment of Women, creating a Drug-Free Covai , Environment Conservation etc. Projects in line with these objectives will be taken up in the coming days.
Rtn.B.K.Krishnaraj Vanavarayar, reportedly said that Rotary Clubs’ services are the need of the hour of society.
The vision of the new District Governor and the newly installed Rotary Officials who are about to dedicate themselves in elevating society needs our appreciation, he said.
