TechGuard Labs Foundation, an organization specialising in cybersecurity that is established through a collaborative partnership between Coimbatore’s SNR Sons Charitable Trust and Israel’s Ariel University, Promitei Ltd, and ERA IT Consulting & Audit Ltd, was inaugurated on Friday.

The center is located at the SREC Spark, an advanced incubation and innovation hub of Sri Ramakrishna Engineering College, Coimbatore. It was inaugurated by SNR Sons Charitable Trust’s Managing Trustee Sundar Ramakrishnan along with TechGuard Labs Foundation’s Deputy Managing Director David Belostotsky.

Speaking to the press and media, Sundar Ramakrishnan said, that cybersecurity is one of the most important sectors in the world that is becoming increasingly tech-driven, and at this moment SNR Sons Charitable Trust has begun a new company in the cybersecurity sector.

He added that Techguard which brings together proven Israeli cybersecurity methodologies and assessment techniques with deep local Indian expertise will aim to develop solution to counter cyber security threats that will be useful for industries, banks, upcoming startups and much more.

“We are going to be one of the finest cybersecurity companies and among the best in the country,” he added.

The inauguration took place in the presence of Narendran Soundararaj, Joint Managing Trustee, Ramakrishna Vijayakumar, Lakshminarayanaswamy Doraiswamy, Trustees, SNR Sons Charitable Trust besides Shankar Mohan, CEO, Biopharmax-India and Lalindra Munasinghe – Chief Business Officer, TechGuard Labs Foundation.

The event was attended by SNR Sons Charitable Trust’s Chief Executive Officer C.V. Ramkumar; Chief Administrative Officer D. Maheshkunar; SREC’s Principal Soundararajan, Tech Senior Manager Hari Hara Goal, Department Heads, Dean, Professors and many others.
