The Tiruppur Exporters’ Association (TEA) launched Logics of Logistics – Guidelines for Tiruppur Exporters on 8th August 2025.

Speaking on the occasion, Thirukkumaran, General Secretary of TEA, stated that the Logics of Logistics guideline would serve as a valuable resource for exporters in the logistics sector. He appreciated the efforts of Kumar Duraiswamy, Joint Secretary, Sivasubramaniam, Chairman of the Membership Sub-Committee, and the logistics panel for their significant contributions.

Kumar Duraiswamy expressed his gratitude to Anand Mohan Mishra, Joint Director General of Foreign Trade (JDGFT), Coimbatore, for highlighting that the industry’s concerns regarding the tariffs imposed by the United States would be submitted to the Central Government. He also thanked the Logics of Logistics panel members, their respective management teams, and Dakshin Bharat Gateway Terminal, Thoothukudi, for sponsoring the initiative.

Subramanian, President of TEA, expressed confidence that the current U.S. tariffs are temporary and stated that Tiruppur exporters, like the phoenix, would rise above all challenges. He noted that the handbook would serve as a practical ready reckoner for everyone involved in the logistics process.

Padmashri Sakthivel, Honorary Chairman of TEA, appreciated the President’s leadership in taking a pioneering step toward creating the logistics handbook. He also thanked Anand Mohan Mishra for resolving several long-standing issues since taking office in Coimbatore.

In his address, Anand Mohan Mishra announced that a seminar on the India–UK Free Trade Agreement would soon be organised jointly with TEA. He remarked that the Logics of Logistics book would serve as an effective guide for exporters engaged in the logistics chain.

Sivasubramaniam, Chairman of the Membership Sub-Committee, delivered the vote of thanks.

The event was attended by Gopalakrishnan, Treasurer of TEA, Executive Committee Members Anand, Mezhiselvan, Rathinasamy, Prem Aggarwal, Prem Kumar, Sakthivel, and Sumitha Roshan, Chairman of the Women Entrepreneurs Sub-Committee, TEA. Over 100 participants were present at the event.
