The Centre for Innovation, Incubation & Entrepreneurship (CII&E) and the Department of Commerce (Banking & Insurance) of PSG College of Arts & Science, Coimbatore, in association with FICCI FLO, Coimbatore Chapter, are organising a 12-Day Faculty Entrepreneurship Development Programme (FEDP) from 11 th June to 24 th June 2025.
This programme is sponsored by the Department of Science & Technology (DST), Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India.
This training programme is specially curated for faculty members from higher educational institutions (HEIs) across all disciplines to enhance their capacity to promote innovation and entrepreneurship and mentor student startups.
The programme includes sessions by innovation experts, startup founders, motivational speakers, and successful entrepreneurs on vital areas such as:
- Entrepreneurship & Innovation Ecosystem in India
- Design Thinking & Opportunity Recognition
- Business Model Canvas, MVP, and Startup Financing
- Intellectual Property Rights & Funding Schemes
- Government Startup Policies and Startup India Initiatives
- Industry Visits and Hands-on Learning
- Role of Faculty as Mentors and Incubation Coordinators
The training program will be held at PSG College of Arts & Science. It is open to Faculty Members of Higher Education Institutions (HEIs), IIC & EDC Coordinators, and Entrepreneurship Mentors.
There is no training fee; however, a registration fee of ₹590/- is applicable. Hostel accommodation will be available for outstation participants.
