The External Relationship and Consultancy Club of Vivekananda Institute of Management Studies (VIMS) organised a Management Development Program (MDP) for Arjuna Natural on November 22, 2025, on the theme “People Management & Conflict Resolution.”
The program focused on key aspects of management in today’s dynamic business environment and aimed to enhance employees’ skills in communication, teamwork, and leadership.
The program was inaugurated by Valarmathi, Director of VIMS, who highlighted the objectives and significance of the MDP.
Professors Umamaheswari and Kalaivani engaged participants through case studies and interactive management games. Their session aimed at improving participants’ abilities to manage people effectively, covering topics such as understanding individual and team dynamics, communication strategies, and conflict resolution techniques.
Through the activities, participants gained practical insights into real-world people management challenges and developed strategies to address them. They analysed workplace scenarios, discussed issues, and proposed effective solutions.
Professors Kowsalya and Durai conducted a session on Corporate Scenarios and Instruments for Conflict Management as part of the program. The session focused on equipping participants with the skills needed to handle conflicts effectively in organisational environments, helping them apply appropriate conflict management techniques in workplace settings.
