During a medical camp in The Nilgiris, doctors from PSG Hospitals identified a rare genetic liver disorder in 15-year-old Roshan.

As his condition progressed toward potential liver failure, the hospital’s transplant team acted swiftly, performing a complex living donor liver transplant using a portion of his mother’s liver. The procedure was a success, restoring his health completely.

The entire cost was covered under the Tamil Nadu Government’s Chief Minister’s Comprehensive Health Insurance Scheme (CMCHIS).

One year later, Roshan is living a normal, healthy life—a quiet testament to the importance of early detection and the advanced surgical expertise available at PSG Hospitals.
