SSVM Residential School, Mettupalayam, recently celebrated its 26th Annual Sports Day under the theme “Save Our Planet.”
Padma Bhushan Sreejesh, former captain of the Indian Men’s Hockey Team, legendary goalkeeper, and Olympian, was the Chief Guest. Manimekalai Mohan, Founder and Managing Trustee of SSVM Institutions, and Mohandoss, Secretary and Trustee, graced the occasion.
Sharing insights from his remarkable 21-year sporting journey, Sreejesh inspired students to embrace challenges, persevere through failures, and pursue excellence with dedication.
The event featured a march-past, athletic competitions, drills, and a vibrant chromatic display highlighting the importance of environmental conservation. Galapagos House emerged as the Overall Champions.
