PSG College of Arts and Science (PSG CAS) conducted a Fire Safety Mock Drill for its Youth Red Cross volunteers by joining hands with the Fire Safety Department on Wednesday.
The fire safety department personnel explained the students about types of fire (electrical fire, chemical fire, LPG related fire), how to identify the type of fire accident, right way to extinguish different fire, proper way to rescue individuals caught in fire incident and the ideal first aid and rescue practices.
The students enthusiastically participated in the drill and learned about fire under experts’ guidance.
