Sri Ramakrishna Institute of Technology (SRIT) inaugurated HIVE (Hub for Innovation and Entrepreneurship) on December 6, 2024.
The state-of-the-art innovation hub was inaugurated by R. Sundar, Managing Trustee of SNR Sons Charitable Trust, in the presence of Sakthi Vignesh, Software Team Lead from Kawasaki Robotics India’s Semiconductor Division and Alamelu, Director (Academics), Sri Ramakrishna Group of Institutions who delivered the felicitation address. David Rathnaraj, Principal of the college were also present.
The hub aims to foster entrepreneurship and technological innovation among students and faculty.
The inauguration event showcased the institute’s commitment to practical innovation through student demonstrations of cutting-edge projects, including a Ball Bearing Sorting Machine, Mango Ripening Technology, and Solar Still Innovation.
The newly established HIVE facility provides a collaborative ecosystem equipped with advanced resources and expert guidance, enabling students to transform their innovative ideas into practical solutions.
The event also featured the distribution of Yukti Ideation awards and the release of a special HIVE brochure, underlining SRIT’s dedication to fostering industry-relevant education and research.
