The Rotary Club of Coimbatore Smart City, in association with the Indian Medical Association (IMA), Agarwal Eye Hospital, Ramakrishna Dental Hospital, and T&I Global Projects, organised a comprehensive health camp focused on community well-being on 1st July 2025.

As part of the camp, a blood donation drive was held in collaboration with the IMA, at The Residency Towers and Messer’s Cutting Systems India.

Many volunteers came forward to donate. Visually challenged students of Project Umeed: A Ray of Hope at the National Federation of the blind also participated in a blood donation drive.

Free eye check-ups were conducted by Agarwal Eye Hospital, offering screening and guidance on common vision issues. Ramakrishna Dental Hospital extended its services through free dental consultations and oral hygiene awareness.

The event was attended by Rtn. Chella K Raghavendran, District Governor, RI District 3206; Rtn. PHF Dr. Rohini Sharma, District Secretary, Social Media; Rtn. Myilswamy, District Chairman, Service Projects; Rtn. Ankitha Dinesh, District Director; Rtn Amrish Parikh, DGS; Rtn. Vijay Raghavan, Assistant Governor; and Rtn. MPHF Subhash Goenka, GGR, along with other members of the Rotary club of Coimbatore Smartcity.

The event was supported by T&I Global Projects and Rtn. PHF Sangeet and Rtn. PHF Shikha Bagaria, reaffirming their commitment to corporate social responsibility.

The project was done under the leadership of Rtn. Dr. Bharat Gupta, President of the club, Rtn. PHF Aparna Desai, Secretary; Rtn. Shivam, Treasurer; Rtn. MPHF Subhash Goenka, Community Service Chair; and the projects chairs, Rtn. PHF Dr. Shantanu, and Rtn PHF Rajan.
