The Charter Presentation Ceremony of the Rotary Club of Coimbatore Gem was held on Saturday at COINDIA, Coimbatore. The club was chartered on July 23, 2026.
The Charter was formally presented by Rtn. MPHF Swaminathan, President of the Rotary Club of Coimbatore.
On this memorable occasion, Rtn. PHF Varadarajan and Rtn. Ravichandran were installed as the Charter President and Charter Secretary, respectively, along with the other Charter Office Bearers.
The Chief Guest of the event was Rtn. Raja Govindasamy, Past District Governor, RID 3000, and End Polio Now Coordinator for Zone 5, 2026–29.
In his acceptance speech, Rtn. Varadarajan outlined the various community service initiatives proposed by the Rotary Club of Coimbatore Gem. One of the significant initiatives is providing financial assistance to Nalani, a PhD scholar, for two years to support her research work.
The Charter Presentation marked the beginning of a new journey for the Rotary Club of Coimbatore Gem.
