Rotaract Clubs of Avinashilingam Institute for Home Science and Higher Education for Women, Coimbatore Main, Nehru Institute of Engineering and Technology, Sri Krishna Arts and Science College, Sri Krishna College of Technology, and Sri Ramakrishna College of Arts and Science came together to organize a rally named ‘Mangai’at Racecourse, recently.
The rally aimed at raising awareness for the transgender community and highlighted the importance of inclusivity and equality in society.
The event was graced by the presence of the chief guest Beautilna Martinloe, Tamil Nadu’s first transgender professor who delivered an inspiring address. Rtn. Manikandan, president of the Rotary Club of Coimbatore Green City also joined the rally, motivating the participants with his words of encouragement.
Adding to the vibrance of the event, the boy band Bachelors of Isai performed soulful music at the conclusion of the rally. The Rotaractors demonstrate their commitment to social causes and spreading awareness for the transgender community.
