Rathinam College of Arts and Science is set to host “GURUKSHETRA 2025” on 5th July 2025. It is the 6th State-Level Intercollegiate sports competition for college professors.
This flagship event also serves as a Faculty Refresher Programme, offering a platform for educators to step outside their academic routines and engage in healthy competition.
This annual event brings together faculty members from various colleges and universities across the state, providing a unique platform for educators to step beyond their academic responsibilities and participate in an exciting series of sports competitions.
Over 1000 professors from 80 colleges are expected to take part in this grand event. This year’s tournament features a diverse lineup of sports, including Carrom, Chess and Badminton under the categories of Men and Women.
Basketball and Throwball are under the category of Women, Volleyball and Indoor Cricket are under the category of Men.
Madan A Sendhil, Chairman, Rathinam Group of Institutions, will preside over the event.
The event is being organised under the leadership and guidance of Manickam, CEO & Secretary; Balasubramanian, Principal; Suresh, Vice Principal & Director of IQAC; and Dr. Sabareesh, Dean, Research and Development.
A prestigious Rolling Trophy will be awarded to the college that secures the highest total points across all events.
