The Department of Computer Science at Sri Ramakrishna College of Arts and Science for Women, Coimbatore, organised “TechVision 2025 – Igniting Innovation” recently.
The event aimed to empower women in STEM, exclusively focusing on school students, to spark creativity and curiosity in the fields of technology and innovation.
The event was inaugurated and presided over by Chitra, Principal of the college, who emphasized the importance of women’s empowerment through innovation, skill development, and resilience in the digital era.

The technical sessions featured Shobana Avis, HR, Wipro Technologies, who spoke on Innovations in Tech; Sendhil Parthasarathy, Director, Hirotec India, who addressed Design Thinking; and Banu Prakash, Chief Catalyst, HCL GUVI, who discussed Artificial Intelligence.
The event also included an Innovative Project Expo, Tech Games, and a Robotics Workshop aimed at enhancing the technical skills of young minds.
Around 150 girl students from various schools across Coimbatore participated, exhibiting their talents and sharing their innovative ideas for knowledge enrichment.
