The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), Dr. N.G.P. Institute of Technology (NGP iTech), in association with Pi-Square Technologies and QNX Everywhere inaugurated the two-day QNX India Hackathon 2026 on Friday.
Dasharatha, Programme Director; Suren, Subject Matter Expert; and Veer, Director, QNX Everywhere, graced the occasion.
Bhuvaneswaran, CEO; Prabha, Principal; and Chandrasekharan, Head, ECE, were also present.
Around 27 teams from the Coimbatore and Bengaluru clusters are participating in the hackathon, showcasing their innovation and technical skills in Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS) and embedded systems.
The institution’s partnership with QNX and Pi-Square Technologies marks a significant milestone in its journey towards global industry–academia collaboration.
This hackathon provides students with valuable exposure to global technology practices, industry experts, emerging technologies, and real-world engineering challenges.
