PSG College of Arts & Science (PSGCAS) and Instituto Politecnico Nacional (IPN), Altamira, Mexico signed a Memorandum of Understanding, recently.
The primary objective is to enhance research capabilities, foster academic-industry collaboration and promote innovation in relevant fields. The institutions will collaborate on research projects aimed at addressing critical challenges in microbial and plant fuel cell technologies and the development of nanomaterials for environmental and health applications.
There will be opportunities for exchange programs allowing students and faculty from PSGCAS to work at IPN, Mexico Institute and vice versa. The exchanges will foster knowledge sharing, skill development and provide practical research experience.
Seminars and conferences will be organized jointly to promote knowledge dissemination and discussion on cutting-edge research topics. These events will also serve as platforms for networking among professionals, researchers, and students.
Both institutions will jointly seek funding and grants to support collaborative research initiatives. Research outcomes from collaborative projects will be published in reputed journals and presented at international conferences.
The MoU is effective immediately and will be in place for an initial period of five years, with an option for renewal. This agreement represents a significant step towards enhancing the research capabilities of both institutions.
