PSG College of Arts and Science (PSGCAS) celebrated its Foundation Day on 11th August 2025. Narayanan, Chairman of ISRO, graced the occasion as the chief guest.

The day honoured six individuals with the PSGCAS Distinguished Alumni Award 2025 for their outstanding contributions and service to society, bringing pride to their alma mater on a global stage.

Gopalakrishnan, Managing Trustee of PSG & Sons’ Charities, presided over the event and delivered the presidential address. The chief guest and the managing trustee jointly presented the awards to the six recipients. G.R. Karthikeyan, Chairman, PSG & Sons’ Charities, felicitated the awardees.

The awardees were Ravichandran, Vice President of Indian Immunologicals Limited, Hyderabad; Chandrasekaran, Superintendent of Police, Enforcement Wing, Madurai; Rajkumar, Senior Principal Scientist and Project Leader of the Airborne Geophysics Group at CSIR–National Geophysical Research Institute, Hyderabad; Murali Kallummal, Professor at the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, New Delhi; Senthilkumar, Managing Director and Founder-Chairman of Edu Value Creators India; and Rani Kanchana, Additional Commissioner of Income Tax, Indian Revenue Service, Coimbatore.

At the event, a drug awareness pledge initiated by the Tamil Nadu government was taken by all, and it was read out by Senguttuvan, the Principal In-charge of the college.

Heads of PSG institutions, faculty members, alumni, and students graced the occasion.
