PSG College of Technology held its Award Ceremony (Graduation Ceremony) for the successful candidates belonging to the Departments of Bio-Medical Engineering, Bio-Technology, CSE&IT on Monday.
Govindan Rangarajan, Director of the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bengaluru took part as the Chief Guest. L. Gopalakrishnan, Managing Trustee of PSG & Sons’ Charities presided over the event. Prof.Anantha Subramaniam, Head of Biotechnology Department welcomed the gathering. Prof.Thyla, Principal of the college declared the Award Ceremony open.
Dr. Rangarajan delivered a compelling speech emphasizing the geopolitical significance of quantum computing, the disruptive rise of advanced artificial intelligence, and the vital importance of preserving human empathy and analytical skills.
As the world becomes more and more tech-driven, he emphasized that India next be self sufficient in cyber security.
