PSG & Sons’ Charities congratulated faculty members of PSG Institute of Technology and Applied Research (PSG iTech) on their inclusion in Stanford University’s World’s Top 2% Most Influential Scientists list.
Published by Elsevier on 7 October 2026, the list recognises scientists for their contributions to research and scientific advancement.
Rajeshkumar, Professor of Mechanical Engineering, has been featured in the list for the sixth consecutive year, while Kumaravel, Associate Professor of Chemistry, has secured recognition for the second consecutive year.
Senthilkumar, Associate Professor of Mechanical Engineering, has been recognised for the fourth consecutive year.
Alagar, Research Mentor, was also recognised for his contributions.
In a special mention under the Career-Long Impact category (1960–2025), Alagar and Rajeshkumar received additional recognition for their contributions over the course of their careers.
These achievements highlight the faculty members’ contributions to scientific research and academic excellence, further strengthening PSG iTech’s global standing in research and academia.
