KPR College of Arts Science and Research, Coimbatore, organized “TechRaga’26,” a two-day grand inter-collegiate festival that attracted over 2500 students from 100+ colleges across Tamil Nadu.
K. P. Ramasamy, Chairman of KPR Group of Institutions, inaugurated the event and stated that the primary objective of the event was to bring out and showcase the unique talents and creativity of the students.
Gayathri Anandakrishnan Secretary of the college emphasized that such inter-collegiate platforms are vital for fostering leadership qualities and collaboration among youth.
College Principal P. Geetha highlighted that the flagship competitions, especially the Hackathons, were structured to inspire students to emerge as achievers by developing innovative, practical technological solutions for pressing contemporary societal challenges.
The mega fest featured over 25 competitive events alongside dedicated attraction zones, including a Game Arena and more than 25 commercial stalls. Across the two days, participants engaged in a wide array of technical and non-technical contests, including five hackathon tracks, business plan presentations (Shark Tank), Adzap, quiz contests, designer challenges, fashion show, nail art, face painting, mehndi, and a Free Fire tournament on Day 1.
The Day 2 schedule comprised cutting-edge technical events such as Fix The Bug, Webforge, Paperspark, Prompting The Wars, and Connections, followed by vibrant cultural competitions featuring solo and group dance, solo singing, photography, etc.
Cash prizes exceeding Rs.2.5 lakhs along with certificates of merit were awarded to the winners of various events.
