The Department of Biomedical Engineering at Dr. NGP Institute of Technology, Coimbatore, recently entered into a consultancy agreement worth Rs. 5,00,000 with M/s. Prashan Medical Technologies, Coimbatore, for the development of three innovative biomedical products.
The agreement was signed in the presence of Buvaneswaran, Chief Executive Officer, Dr. NGP Research and Educational Trust. Prabha, Principal, and Boopathi Sakthivel, Founder and CEO of the Medical company, signed the memorandum.
The initiative was coordinated by Praveen Chakkravarthy, Head of the department and Principal Investigator, along with the department faculty members.
The collaboration aims to enhance industry–academia partnerships and drive advancements in biomedical product innovation.
