The Department of Computer Science with Cognitive Systems, Dr NGP Arts and Science College, recently organised a National Seminar on Artificial Intelligence (AI) Innovations for Advanced Biological Science and Research. The seminar was sponsored by DBT-CTEP, New Delhi.
The seminar was inaugurated with a presidential address delivered by Dr. Nalla G Palaniswamy, Chairman of Dr NGP Research and Educational Trust and Dr. Thavamani D Palaniswamy, Secretary, Dr NGP Educational Institutions.
The Inaugural Address was delivered by the guest Dr Kathirvelu, Scientist G, DEBEL-DRDO, Ministry of Defence, Government of India.
The felicitation was delivered by Buvaneswaran, Chief Executive Officer, Dr NGP Research and Educational Trust, Ramamurthi, Director in Academics of the College and Saravanan, Principal.
The keynote address was delivered by Dr Balakrishnan, Principal Scientist, ICAR-NAARM, Hyderabad; Ravindra Kumar Assistant Professor, Department of Bioscience and Engineering, NIT, Calicut, Kerala, and Srinivasulu Reddy, Associate Professor, Department of Computer Applications, NIT, Tiruchirappalli.
The valedictory address was delivered by Ramamurthi and Saravanan. Around 256 participants from more than 15 various institutions across India have been in part of this seminar.
Around 30 papers have been presented in the seminar with 26 papers published in the seminar proceedings with ISBN number.
