The Rotary Club of Coimbatore D’elite inaugurated Mother’s Feeding Rooms at Marudhamalai Temple today.
The facility, the first of its kind at the temple, has been established to provide a comfortable and private space for mothers to feed their infants.

The rooms were inaugurated by Rtn. M.D. Sanjeevi Kumar Jagadeesan, Rotary District 3206 Governor Nominee Designate for 2028–29, along with Jayakumar, Chairman of the temple; Rtn. M.D. Gopalakrishnan, Assistant Governor, in the presence of Rtn. M.D. P.P. Gowtham Chander, Project Chairman; Rtn. Dharani Devi, Project Chairperson and President of the club; and Rtn. Laxmi Menon, Secretary.
The project was sponsored by Chinnaswamy Ramachandran, Chairman of Ramachandran Groups, Chennai.

Among the guest Rotarians present were Rtn. Vijay Krishnan, President of Rotary Club of Coimbatore East; Rtn. Jaikumar, Immediate Past President; Rtn. Venkatesh, Club Service Chair; and Rtn. Meena Gopal, DEI Deputy Chair.
The keys to the Mother’s Feeding Rooms were formally handed over to Jayakumar, Chairman of the temple, Deputy Commissioner, and other officials of the temple devasthanam.

Senior officials of the devasthanam participated in the function. Students from PSG Institutions also took part in the event.
