KGiSL Institute of Technology (KiTE) organised its 14th Graduation Day today at the K. Govindaswamy Naidu Open Auditorium.
A total of 556 graduates received their degrees from the chief guest, Gopi Chand Merugu, Joint Director, UGC, in the presence of Ashok Bakthavathsalam, Managing Trustee, KGiSL Trust.

While delivering the chief guest address, Gopi Chand Merugu said that some of the graduates present may have already secured jobs, while some may not have. “But you should not worry about it. You can pursue higher studies, and placement in a job is not the only way to achieve your goals. You can also take up higher education and research work to achieve your aims,” he said.
Suresh Kumar, Principal, delivered the welcome address, stating that everyone had gathered to celebrate the graduates’ hard work, perseverance, accomplishments, and determination. He expressed confidence that the graduates would emerge as great leaders and contribute to society.

Ashok Bakthavathsalam, in his presidential address, said that with the rapid rise of artificial intelligence (AI), change is happening at a fast pace. He compared AI to electricity, which earlier enabled many innovations, and said that similarly, AI is now driving major advancements.
He advised graduates to maintain a positive mindset, identify and develop their hidden talents, and transform themselves through spirituality and self-growth. He also emphasized the concept of “3 S” — Skill, Spirituality, and Society — urging graduates to develop rare skills, cultivate spirituality, and contribute to society.

Among the 556 graduates who received their degrees, 152 were first-generation graduates.
Deans, Directors, Associate Directors, the Controller of Examinations, Heads of Departments, faculty members, and parents graced the occasion and congratulated the graduating students on their achievement.
