Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at KIT–Kalaignarkarunanidhi Institute of Technology recently inaugurated the QNX Centre of Excellence (CoE).
The Centre of Excellence has been established to bridge the gap between academia and industry by providing students with hands-on exposure to the QNX Real-Time Operating System (RTOS), embedded software development, and industry-oriented training in safety-critical systems.
The CoE was inaugurated by chief guests Rajkumar Jain, Vice President, Engineering and Head of QNX India, and Dasharatha, Program Director, QNX Everywhere, at Pi Square Technologies in the presence of Indu Murugesan, Vice Chairperson, KIT.
The Centre of Excellence will equip students with industry-relevant skills in embedded systems, RTOS, automotive software, and the Internet of Things (IoT), preparing them for careers in intelligent and connected technologies, said the college.
