Dr. NGP Institute of Technology hosted the DCG Coimbatore Conference 2026 recently bringing together cybersecurity professionals, industry experts, academicians, students and participants from various institutions and organizations to explore emerging trends and developments in cybersecurity.
The event witnessed participation from various external institutions, providing a platform for knowledge sharing, networking and professional interaction.
Dr. Prabha, Principal; Palanikkumar, Dean – Computing Sciences, felicitated the gathering and emphasized the importance of industry exposure, research, teamwork and continuous learning in cybersecurity.
The conference was led by Subash Jaganathan, Head, DCG Coimbatore, and featured expert sessions on SOC and Digital Forensics, IoT Security, Cyber Operations, AI Audit and AI-driven Cybersecurity.
Experts including Girithar Ram Ravindran, Sabareesh, Priyadharshini Karthik Ram, Anussha Hari Prassad and Ramkumari Iyer shared industry insights through technical sessions.
A panel discussion on “Cybersecurity – Industry, Innovation & Future” highlighted emerging technologies, industry expectations and future opportunities in the field.
The programme was presided over by Rajalakshmi, Head, Department of Computer Science and Engineering (Cyber Security).
The conference witnessed enthusiastic participation from more than 400 students and representatives from various external institutions and organizations, providing them with valuable exposure to current cybersecurity practices, emerging technologies and industry perspectives.
